A new year is nearly upon us.

The holidays will be over and  sometimes, it's hard to get the kids back into the swing of things.

I like to start off with easy, basic things for a few days. 

Get their brains oiled up, before jumping in full force.

I have made some " After Christmas Writing Fun"   for you.

These are really funny, especially if you put names and dates on them to be read later.  I've done this, and they are so cute.

There are three penguin patterns.  1  black and white, 1  colored, and 1 large black and white.

The picture above, shows size comparison.

You can use construction paper or craft foam sheets for these patterns, or have children color them.

Anyway you choose to make them, I hope you have fun with them.

Decorate with glitter, add candy canes, presents ....

I hope everyone enjoyed a blessed Thanksgiving.

I am working on several Christmas projects for you.

Sadly, I don't have them ready today.

I do have a good tool for those of you who are teaching your children their multiplication table. 

These practices include facts from 0-12. These could come in handy after the holidays for getting children back into the swing of things.

Thanksgiving Place Mats

Thank you for stopping by.  

I have made some Thanksgiving Place Settings for you. Some of these are color, some in black and white.  These can really be fun especially if you're having a pretend "Thanksgiving Feast" in your homeschool.  Each set includes place mat, napkin ring, and a table seating card.  You can put names on these if you choose. 
Instructions for the placement cards are included.  

I hope you enjoy doing these.  

You'll want to try this technique with other cards too.  

There's no limit to what you can do.   Have fun!
